Plumbing Careers
Apprentice Plumber- position in which someone learns a trade by working under a certified expert and attends class 160 hours per year
Journeyman Plumber- a worker, skilled in a given building trade or craft, who has successfully completed an official apprenticeship qualification. with 6,000 hours of OJT and 580 hours of class room training and pass the exam.
Master Plumber- a person who has earned the highest professional level of plumbing. To become a master plumber, you must complete an apprenticeship, become a licensed journeyman and earn a license to be a master plumber. 10,000 hours of OJT and pass the exam
