  • What is it?

    The Horticulture, Landscape & Design program
    prepares students for career and postsecondary
    pathways in major areas of the horticulture and
    landscaping industries. Landscape design includes
    the knowledge and use of varlous deciduous and
    evergreen trees and shrubs, annual and perennial
    flowers, specimen plantings, and ornamental
    grasses.

    What will I do?

    Students will understand the installation and
    maintenance process from the initial customer
    meeting to the completion of a project. Hardscape
    Design includes the planning and lnstallation of
    interlocking paver patios and walkways,
    segmented retaining walls. masonry walls and
    stone veneer finishing, pond. waterfall, and
    low-voltage lighting.
