  • What is it?

    Students receive highly technical instruction that
    prepares them for an entry-level position using their
    academic and technical knowledge and skills to install,
    service and maintain heating and plumbing systems.
    This includes basics of heating, ventilation, and air
    conditioning along with duct work hot air systems.

    What will I do?

    Instruction includes: daily theory and hands-on
    application of basic principles of plumbing and heating
    systems, working with various types of piping, learning
    about residential plumbing fixtures, garbage disposals,
    kitchen and bath faucets, water heaters, gas and fuel
    piping, blue print readings, basic electric, basic air
    conditioning and basic hot air systems, along with
    component replacement plumbing fixtures, garbage
    disposals, kitchen and bath faucets, hot water heaters,
    gas fuel piping; and heating systems; blueprint reading,
    drain cleaning methods, and component replacement.
