What is it?
This program is designed to comply with the
rules, regulations and state-mandated
curriculum of the Pennsylvania State Board of
Cosmetology. Instruction is provided in a variety
of beauty treatments, including the care and
beautification of the hair, skin, and nails.What will I do?
Students will be trained in shampooing, hair
styling including wigs/extensions, haircutting,
hair coloring and hair lightening, chemical
texturizing (perms and relaxers), facials,
manicures and pedicures, nail technology,
infection control, chemistry, electricity, anatomy
and physiology, professional image, salon
management, and communication skills.
