• LEVEL 100

    2024-2025 School Year

    Dear Student and Parent/Guardian:

Welcome to Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT) where student success is our first priority.  You have made an excellent decision in selecting a career pathway in our Building Trades Occupations Program. MBIT is here to assist students in achieving their goals by providing a supportive, non-threatening environment promoting active learning.

To get started, there are specific items that each student must purchase for class and shop activities. These items are required for each student to have on the first day of school and listed on the level 100 student checklist.

All students are required to wear a uniform daily. If students do not have the required uniform, participation in class and activities are limited affecting their daily grade. Purchase uniforms by using the following website www.mbitschoolstore.com starting August 1st. The website will specify what is required and recommended for purchase for this program. Purchase uniforms no later than August 15th so students will have them at the start of the school year. Orders are shipped directly to MBIT and students will receive their uniform orders in the classroom. For this program, one shirt is required but you may want to purchase two. At the same time, you may also want to purchase a navy-blue sweatshirt. Contact MBIT if there are any questions or if you have difficulty purchasing the required materials and supplies.

When school begins, each student will receive a Student Handbook explaining our school rules, procedures, regulations and student responsibilities.  Our main concerns are for the safety of everyone and that we provide an atmosphere that is beneficial to the learning process.

Please assist your child in purchasing the required materials and supplies. Complete the necessary student information, emergency forms and invoice payment via the PowerSchool Information Registration System by August 31, 2024. Students cannot participate in their labs until all forms are complete.

I look forward to the upcoming year and recognize the importance of home support and participation.  For this purpose, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Your success at MBIT is our success. See you on September 3, 2024. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Michael Sykes
