2024-2025 School Year
Dear Student and Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT), where student success is our first priority. You have made an excellent decision in selecting and developing a career pathway in our Architecture & Construction Engineering (ACE) Program. We are here to assist you in achieving your goals by providing a supportive environment for high-quality education.
During your experience in my program, you will gain valuable skills in both architectural and mechanical drafting. Our lab is equipped with the latest versions of AutoCAD, Revit, Google Sketchup, and state of the art computer hardware. You will be learning fundamental basics to understand how a professional Architectural or Engineering office operates and the attitudes necessary for success.
The following items are required on or before the first day of school:
-
Student Activity Fee (paid via PowerSchool Information Registration System)
-
OSHA Certification Fee (new students only and paid via PowerSchool Information Registration System)
-
MBIT Polo shirt (see uniform ordering information below)
All MBIT students are required to wear a uniform daily. If students do not have the required apparel, they will NOT be permitted to participate in the classroom activities, which will result in a zero on their daily assessment. Uniforms for the program can be purchased at www.mbitschoolstore.com starting August 1st. The website will specify what is required and recommended for purchase. Uniforms should be ordered no later than August 15th so students will have them for the first week of school. Students will receive their uniform orders in their designated classroom.
In addition, once you receive your login, please complete the necessary student information, emergency forms and invoice payment via the PowerSchool Information Registration System by August 31, 2024. Students will not be permitted to participate in their labs until all forms are completed. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.
Your success at MBIT is our success. See you on Monday, September 3, 2024.
Sincerely,
Craig Malinowski
Architecture & Construction Engineering Instructor
