Dear Student and Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT), where student success is our first priority. You have made an excellent decision in selecting and developing a career pathway in our Public Safety Program. We are here to assist you in achieving your goals by providing a supportive environment for high-quality education.
I am honored to be the instructor of the Public Safety Program at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology. This structured and multifaceted program encompasses the essential elements of Public Safety. Your child’s commitment to the program will enhance their personal and professional development, making them a future asset to the profession.
Due to the nature of the coursework, the following are specific program requirements that are necessary for your child’s safety and success.

Private Physician’s Report to be completed by your physician and returned to MBIT. (enclosed) – new Public Safety students only**

Student Activity Fee and workbooks
*As per the program specifications jewelry is prohibited during class hours and facial hair is limited as per NFPA standards. Personal Electronic devices are ONLY to be used for educational purposes at the discretion of the Instructor.
Please return the enclosed form (s) fully completed, in the addressed envelope provided by August 31, 2024. In addition, once you receive notification, please complete the necessary student information, emergency contact information and invoice payment via the PowerSchool Information Registration System by August 31, 2024. Students will not be permitted to participate in their labs until all forms are completed. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation.
